The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The Multiprofession policy team, which sits within the Strategy and Policy Directorate, works across all professions to build Ahpra's regulatory policy function by leading shared policies, improving existing policies, growing policy capability and promoting the value of consistency across the National Scheme, with the aim of achieving best possible outcomes for the public, practitioners, Ahpra and the National Boards.
