The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to the delivery of our Talent Engagement and Attraction (TEA) plan, ensuring the right people are in the right roles, in the right place, and at the right time. We are a key part of moments that matter in the employee lifecycle and we are building a workforce that is agile, adaptive and future ready.
This is a full time permanent position and can be located in Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide. We work a hybrid arrangement under the Flexible working policy.
About the role
As part of the People Strategy and Reform team, you will deliver a professional, timely, collaborative and proactive end-to-end recruitment service. Reporting to the Recruitment Team Lead you’ll work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver a strategic, inclusive people focused recruitment solution that aligns with best practice and reflect a kind, considered approach.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns from approval to offer
- Provide accurate, timely advice and have the ability to influence and inform to ensure hiring managers are making informed recruitment decisions
- Ensure applicants and candidates receive accurate and timely information
- Contribute to recruitment related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain the integrity of recruitment data and systems
- Apply active listening and responsive action to meet stakeholders and candidates needs.

- Confidence in managing multiple priorities and working autonomously with the ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate appropriately.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.

- Proficiency in recruitment systems or HRIS (PageUp experience highly regarded)
