We have an exciting new opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our large-scale transformation program! This role will allow you to work across multiple initiatives to improve the future state experience for our staff and end-users.

We are looking for a Graduate Analyst with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and solid Microsoft Office knowledge. You must bring your strong analytical, communication, and relationship building skills and a desire to grow and learn. This role will be supported by our Business Analyst Lead in a positive team environment.

As part of the Business Transformation team, you will be central to our success, producing functional and non-functional business requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and contribute to business design and solutions.

Work with purpose

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications, and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

This is a 2-year Full Time – Fixed Term position based in our Adelaide Office with flexible working from home arrangements available!

About the role

  • Be part of an exciting transformation program, focused on delivering improved future state experiences to staff end end-users
  • Join a team focused on high performance, service, and continuous improvement, and collaborate with business stakeholders to represent their needs in the project
  • Collate, document, and analyse business requirements, user stories, and functional requirement specifications, and support through the build, test and implement phases that align with our future state
  • Provide advice and recommendations on business solutions to support the design and development of various system solutions to improve delivery and service levels.
  • Capture stakeholder requirements across the program, project, and development life cycle.
  • Be part of supportive team with exposure to peer quality reviews to make sure you are meeting industry best practice.
  • Work flexibly with the ability to work from home 3 days a week if desired.

Our ideal candidate

  • Proactive, highly motivated, and advanced interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly on the job in a complex environment
  • An outstanding communicator with both written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
  • Understanding of and experience in business analysis and activities such as quality user stories, process maps and user stories, preferably within Digital Transformation is highly desired.
  • A bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology or business system or related discipline (during the last 2 years with a minimum credit plus average) OR 12 months experience in a similar role and/optional completed an internship.
