The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
As part of our Organisational Capability team and reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Advisor/Talent Acquisition Partner will provide administrative support to the recruitment and People and Culture team. This includes posting vacancies, coordination of interviews and assessment centres, pre-employment checks and assist with the on-boarding of new employees.
You will also be the intermediary for our hiring managers when they require short term resources and work closely with our preferred agency providers to secure the best talent.

This is a full time, fixed term arrangement for 12 months. Ahpra requires all employees to comply with Ahpra policies, including the Flexible working policy.
About you
You are an experienced recruiter looking for a challenge. As you will be supporting some of our key customer groups, you will have strong experience in white collar recruitment - our stakeholder groups are a mix of IT, Legal, Finance and more. Your verbal and written communication skills are your strengths - you take care with what is said and written. You will take accountability for a portfolio of your own developing strong relationships and providing support and recommendations which will be key to your success. This portfolio is high volume and provides critical front line support to Ahpra so strong experience in this capacity will he highly regarded.
You have an exemplary customer service focus - your ability to quickly develop rapport and determine the need of your stakeholders is what you are known for and will ensure you build trust. You are the trusted partner during not only active recruitment activities but provide advice and coaching to our leaders (and employees!) to support continued capability.
