The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) is the national agency responsible for administering the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (National Scheme) in partnership with 15 National Boards for the regulated health professions.
This is a full time permanent opportunity that is based in Melbourne working a hybrid (2 office days) arrangement.
The Systems Engineer – Infrastructure is responsible for managing the operation of Ahpra’s underlying technical infrastructure, production and non production servers and storage environments, configuration and management delivering a comprehensive, end to end support function across Ahpra’s application portfolio that supports and enables the ongoing operations of all Ahpra employees and Board members. Also, ensuring a 24x7 service level operation for Ahpra customer facing presence and supporting systems and infrastructure will be required.
In this role you will:
- Configure and maintain technical infrastructure including – servers and storage equipment including production, non-production, public cloud and state and territory-based office environments
- Manage and maintain Ahpra’s virtualised environment, including Active Directory, VMware, Backups and Azure (both in house and vendor hosted environments)
- Manage, deploy and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Office 365 applications
- Design, maintain and deploy server SOEs (including both physical & virtual desktop environments)
