The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) is the national agency responsible for administering the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (National Scheme) in partnership with 15 National Boards for the regulated health professions.
This is a full time permanent opportunity, this position can be located in any Ahpra location with a preference to Melbourne, working 5 days in the office
Reporting to the Manager – IT Service Management and Partnership, the IT Service Desk Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of the Service Desk ensuring effective incident and service request resolution. You will provide Level 1 service desk support as required and also manage the teams workflow, maintain the configuration management database and act as an escalation point for complex issues. This role drives continuous improvement, developing the teams capabilities and ensuring timely, high quality support for all IT services and requires technical skills as well as strong communication and problem solving skills
About you
You will be a clear, customer centric communicator who has the ability to connect with all levels of stakeholders. You will be a problem solver able to troubleshoot complex issues, alongside the ability to handle escalations calmly and professionally. You will lead a team of up to 10 that are geographically dispersed, we work in a collaborative environment, you will foster connections that is encouraging, mentoring and aligned to the Ahpra values.
