The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

About the role

Ahpra is undergoing an exciting transformation, and we’re seeking an Organisational Development Partner to help shape the future. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with specialists across Learning and Development, People and Culture, Wellbeing, Aboriginal and Torres Strait strategy and Change teams to deliver initiatives aligned with our People Plan. From leadership development and inclusion to talent, succession, and cultural engagement, you’ll lead programmes that strengthen our workforce capabilities. With a focus on data-driven insights, contemporary best practice, and strategic impact, you'll play a key role in creating a vibrant, inclusive workplace where people thrive.

This is a full time ongoing position working our hybrid arrangement as per our the Flexible working policy.

About you

You’re a strategic thinker with a people-first approach, bringing deep expertise in organisational development and a track record of delivering impactful initiatives. Whether leading complex change, driving engagement, or cultivating talent pipelines, you meet challenges with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Our team is small but mighty, with several exciting projects in motion. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be immersed in every stage of the work .  Strong time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities are essential.
