Regulatory Officer - Registration
Job no: V15149
Work type: Fixed Term Full Time, Ongoing Full Time
Location: Multiple locations
Categories: Registration
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications, and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
Ahpra and the national Boards are governed by the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law.
The health professions regulated under the national scheme each have five core registration standards. Registration standards define the requirements that applicants and registrants need to meet to be registered. These standards are an important part of regulation for each profession.
We are looking for flexible and dynamic people to join the Case Management team in the Registration function. The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for the management of a variety of applications and renewals with varying degrees of complexity. These roles require strong verbal and written communication as engagement with various stakeholders including health practitioners and Boards is required to assist gathering information for the assessment of applications for registration.
